Dr. Osmani Diaz, DDS

Dr. Diaz received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami with emphasis in Biochemistry in 1986. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1990. He has been practicing in Pembroke Pines since 1995. Dr. Diaz has received extensive training in all areas of cosmetic dentistry including orthodontics and full mouth oral rehabilitation. He is an alumni of the prestigious L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Spear Institute for Advanced Dental Education. He is a graduate of the Progressive Orthodontic Education Program for Dentists. Dr. Diaz is also certified in Invisalign orthodontics. He completed a two year program in Oral lmplantology and grafting at the Robert Morgan Clinic. Dr. Diaz was voted one of the Top Dentists in America by the Consumer Research Council and one of South Florida's top dentists by Coral Living Magazine. He is also certified in Invisalign orthodontics. Dr. Diaz and his wife, Josie have lived in the West Broward area since 1991 and have three children. They are very active in their church and children's schools. Dr. Diaz has also been very active in community organizations such as the Optimist Club and volunteered countless hours to Broward County Schools. He was awarded the Friend of Youth Award by the West Pines Optimist Club for providing free custom fitted mouth guards to young athletes. He enjoys spending time with his family, outdoor activities and sports.

Dr. Diaz received his BS degree with emphasis in biochemistry in 1986 from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He earned his DDS degree from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry in Columbus, Ohio in 1990, where he was on the Dean's list for academic achievement. He's been practicing in Pembroke Pines since 1995 and has helped thousands of patients achieve excellent dental results.

A Commitment to Professional Growth
Dr. Diaz believes that investing in his own professional development and continuing education is of great benefit to his patients. That's why he takes six times the required amount of continuing education each year. He is also involved in numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association and East Coast district Dental Society. He is also a past board member of the Dade County Dental Research clinic and an alumnus of the L.D.Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Diaz is an active member of the Memorial Study Club.

Josie - Financial Coordinator Josie has been working with Dr. Diaz since 1996. She received her accounting degree from the University of Miami in 1987 and a Masters in Accounting in 1988. She enjoys helping patients find a way to make the dentistry they want and need affordable. Josie is married and has three children. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and volunteering at church and school.

Lucy - Dental Hygienist Lucy received her dental hygiene degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 1984. She was licensed in the State of California in the same year and in the State of Florida in 2003. She has twenty six years of clinical experience in adult pediatric and periodontal practices. She was certified in periodontal management by J.P. Consultants in 2002. She is married and has twin boys and enjoys spending time with her family, boating, bicycling and beach activities.

Sharon - Dental Hygienist Sharon received her dental hygiene degree from the University of New England in 1996. In that same year she was licensed in the northeastern Region of the United States and the State of Florida. In 2005, she was licensed in the State of Tennessee, Sharon is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at church and school.

Vivienne - Patient Scheduling Coordinator Vivienne has over nine years of dental office administration experience. Her number one priority is patient service and satisfaction. Vivienne is married and has three children and two grandchildren. She enjoys reading and cooking.

Maggie - Dental Assistant Maggie completed her dental assistant training in 1993 and has been working in the dental field ever since. She received her expanded duties certification in 2000. She enjoys assisting Dr. Diaz in giving his patients caring, excellent care. Maggie is married and has a beautiful 18 year old daughter. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and going to Marlin's games.

Virginia - Dental Assistant Virginia received her dental assisting training in 1990, She received her expanding duties certification in 1994. She enjoys making the patients smile at every visit. Virginia is married and has three children. She enjoys cooking and shopping.
